Cafe La Placa - Vic

La Plaça is a bar located in one of the entrance to Plaça Major (main square) of Vic, a town in the center of Catalonia. I came here to breakfast and I ate a cured sausage (typical from the region) sandwich and a coffee with milk, which were very good. Also I repeat the next year, when I ate a pork loin sandwich (other product of the region) and a coffee with milk. Very good to breakfast. Not the fanciest but a good selection of unpretentious food at good prices. Big portions. Good service. Good location right on the square. Would go again.

We needed somewhere to stop off en route from Tamariu to Cardona and stumbled across Vic. What an impressive square and a great find! The food at La Plaça was simple but really tasty (try the egg, bacon and chips yum! , and the service was really impressive.

This is a very average restaurant, the only thing that justifies the third star is the fact it is on the plaza so it has location going for it. Apart from that, not much to say its all very average with nothing that stands out.

Average bar in central Vic, nothing to be mention as different compared to other bars. In addition, we has a bad experience since one of the staff was quite unpolite due to we were with two babies and there was not enough space. This was quite dissaponting and deserve to bé mentioned.
