Sakura Fusion Viareggio

What an amazing fusion restaurant! We are deeply impressed from the first time and it has already become our favourite restaurant of this kind in Tuscany! Not only the quality of served food is fantastic, it’s all-you-can-eat at a very fair price. ‘Salmon out’ is our absolute favourite, ‘sashimi mix’ is wonderful as well as ‘lemon fresh’ from the ‘Special’ section of the menu is indeed very special! The selection of dishes is truly impressive. Service is impeccable, very attentive staff. They always do their best to make and deliver your food asap, even when the restaurant is full. Kudos! Ambience is pleasant and comfortable. Whenever we go to the sea in Viareggio, we go to this restaurant. Strongly recommended!

First of all, the location interior looks amazing. The floor is super nice and the ceiling is nicely decorated. Full use of the space and you can see how they prepare the food. Then, the food itself isn’t expensive (compared to my country, Germany, it’s the same level). The sushi tastes great, the ramen as well. Everything came in a normal amount of time although it was quite busy. The staff was running back and forth and was nice although our Italian was super limited. Overall super happy to have chosen this place although it’s on a “weird” street that doesn’t look nice.

The restaurant has the habit to postpone the delivery of a set of dishes of the order. I have been in this restaurant 3-4 times and so far it has been unconfortable, but acceptable. Today, I celebrated the wedding aniversary with my wife and we had to leave without eating all we ordered (1/3 was missing). It was quite disappointing, since we clarified few times we were waiting and we were in a hurry. Mild apologies were expressed by the staff, but no action was made in fact.
