Bidra med feedbackThe service was warm and welcoming and the meal was a rare and special tasty bites. we chose the cooking menu that was a selection of the choices of the chef. it was amazing to say the least. even if they also served a large group, we felt that we had excellent service. what a special evening. I highly recommend it.
Originally sat outside to eat on the terrace, but due to the amount of puppies this was impossible. moved into the inner, which was much better. the food was presented beautifully, although it was not in taste for everyone. Unfortunately, the wee was not chilled and was served warm....may have been and would have been so much better for the price.
We were happy to eat here as we were 3 nights in the hotel, and the hotel was very nice. for the price was eating very disappointing. thease free appetizers were nice to have, but really not one of the tiny bites. was even special. we both ordered fish. my man was, well, fishy. mine was in order, but the garnitur of half a radish and a baby carrot in third was not much fun. I'm small and I don't want a big portion, but I've been starving.
My one regret with this experience is that I did not have a camera to take photos of one of the most amazing meals I think I have ever had. This place would definitely be in contention for a Michelin star We had the...menu of the day and it was a real winner every thing was cooked to perfection presentation was stunning, service was immaculate and ambience amazing Price was 35 Euro per person over 5 courses plus an amuse bouche excellent wine list I was so pleased we came here it was a fabulous experience and certainly enhanced our trip to France
Popped into the Hotel with friends after walking up and down Vezelay high street. We ordered 2 glasses of cremant, a G&T and a Perrier water. First problem, no cremant!! Really? In Burgundy? Next, after changing to 3 G&Ts and the water, we received three...very small tumblers of G&T with no lemon (which we then had to ask for). Not good the big surprise though was the price...€37. Wow!
