Shake Shack Birmingham - Vestavia

Has heard a lot about Shake Shack, so we thought we would try. Maybe it's a little overhauled when I'm honest. We all have a single hackburger, milkshake and fries and the bill for my family of $678. The burgers were delicious, but a little on the small side. The frits were standard crinkles and the shakes were pretty average. All in all, I wouldn't pay that kind of money back for what we have. Five guys are better at this price.

Fantastic! Even though it is self service, there was a nice young man there who went out if his way to help and bring us whatever we needed. I wish I knew his name, but it was a lively and talkative young black guy. You will know it when you see him because he greets you with a big smile and insists on helping if you seem stuck. If he is not busy he will even bring your food and drinks put to your table. Excellent service, and delicious burgers and shakes.

Enjoyed our first time. You order for yourself on the tablets just inside the door. Our experience included a big rush that ended in a good majority of the staff walking out, but those who remained took care of me and my family. Will be back. Burgers are small, but good.

Good burgers tasted fresh. Bacon cheese fries were tasty too, but I feel like I could have gotten this food anywhere.

There were no burgers available, only chicken. However, I wanted chicken. I did not want burned chicken, but that is what I got. I ordered Cajun fries and there was nothing Cajun about them. The dipping sauce was so thick it was more stiff than mayonnaise. The place was also not very clean and the only way to order was the self serve pads. This was the worst meal I have ever had from nearly anywhere. It was my favorite...now....it is definitely not.
