Trattoria Dario - Vero Beach

Our group of four had a great experience in t. dario. pricey, but it was worth it. the calamari was some of the best I had for years. we sat outside (a terrace, plastic, with heating) on a very cool vero evening and were comfortable enough. great service from personal.

Great food no doubt. A little loud when they get full.

We have dined here as a group before. Eight of us dined outdoors Friday night. To begin with I messed up the reservation requesting seating for 6 but needed 8. The hosts were gracious and professional and found us great seating within 20 minutes on a very busy Friday night. We waited at the bar and the bar staff was cheerful and quick and took care of us too. Our waitstaff was perfect. Friendly, upbeat, responsive and exact. The food was great. Everyone was very pleased.

We have eaten at Dario's twice in one week, both times the experience was excellent. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Drinks, appetizers and dinner were served at appropriate times and every meal for all of our parties was excellent. Dario's is our new favorite place.

Bit of a puzzler this one. As we were staying a short distance from here and reading the reviews we thought we couldn't go wrong. My wife had the Chicken Marsala which she enjoyed even though the pasta was a tad firm, and yes, we know how firm it should be. I had one of the evenings specials, homemade Lasagne. Look rather nice but turned out tasting like a heated up frozen left over from last week. I'm not saying that was the case. Disappointing evening but the service was friendly and pleasant. Based on our meals I can't recommend based on the above and compared to other restaurants in the area it wasn't remotely reflective of the cost.
