Bidra med feedbackI love Donairs. Meat roasted by radiant heat and all delicious crusty spicy bits cut... goodness. That's not that. It's okay enough if you weren't picky to get a traditional donair. The chicken tasted more like a butter chicken wrap. And if that's what you want, it's reasonable. But as DONAIR? 2/5.
I love Donairs, so I expected something delicious. The restaurant is clean and the prepared vegetables looked fresh. However, the meat was cut thick and dry, dry, dry. I tried pre-ground and reheated meat in other places that worked, but unfortunately it was a mistake. It also found a little expensive. Maybe it wouldn't have noticed the price if it were delicious.
There were good options in the hope that they also offered some egg options. The food was healthy. The server was also helpful.
The big beef-donair salad. Salatzutates were fresh, but the meat was pre-coloured in a kind of warming drawer. The result was a dried meat product that did not provide a very appetizing meal. My colleague had a Jumbo panel that... he thought it was just okay. Pleasant people, but we thought the food could be better. It can be better during peak hours.
The restaurant is near the super store and the Bay. Right across from the Fairfield hotel. The sandwiches were tasy and the fries were great.
