Bidra med feedbackPleasantly surprised! Da Poke Bowl was dead quiet (not even music playing) when I walked in on Saturday at 12:30pm. With no host/hostess or menu board to be seen, I called out. The owner appeared and gave me the run-down: all you can eat rice bowls (choice of salmon, tuna, beef, pork, chicken) with a toppings buffet (various pickled or cooked vegetables, pineapples, sesame seeds, fried onions). Would be helpful for new customers to see a front-of-house staff and menu board with pricing prior to entering the establishment. The salmon was slightly cooked on the outside (not completely raw) and marinated with a mild lemon sauce. I really enjoyed the variety of serve-yourself toppings of which the pickled vegetables were my favourite. Price was very reasonable at $15 for an adult. They also have an all you can eat breakfast of waffles, fruit, sausage, and bacon. I will be back again.
This was an amazing experience. I had never heard of Poke cuisine before (Hawaiian), but the food was of excellent quality, so fresh and full of flavour, and the owner was gracious and generous in explaining the process and making our experience a memorable one. Highly recommend!
An underrated gem near the middle of town. A choice of three meats or two seafoods on rice as a base and buffet style add-ons endless drinks for a very reasonable price. Impossible to settle on just one bowl. Good variety of vegetables, pickled items and other goodies. The tuna seasoning is a bit on the saltier side balanced by the sweet cucumber (almost tasted like zucchini 무침 almost? while pork was sweet and savory, sort of a combination of teriyaki and 장조림. A bit reminiscent of Korean university cafeterias in terms of mood and concept! The owner is very friendly and helpful. The lemonade was nicely sweet and tangy. Definitely a must-try when in town if you've built up an appetite.
Incredible tasting Waffle Breakfast! Lovely service. Super Clean Restaurant. Worth the visit... 9am-2pm Saturdays sundays. YUM!
Absolutely delicious. For $15 you get all you can eat poke bowl (beef, chicken, pork, tuna, or salmon). I had a chicken bowl and salmon bowl and left stuffed! There is also a toppings bar where you can add lots of yummy things to your rice. Loved the pickled cabbage and fresh veggies. Service was great as well. Definitely coming back and bringing my friends with me!
