A&W Restaurant - Vernon

While waiting for an appointment at the mall, he decided to grab a quick snack. Unfortunately, he was not impressed. A medium root beer cost $2.80 and a pre-packaged Blueberry muffin cost an additional $2.40. For comparison, you can get a freshly baked item from Tim Hortons for around $1.25 and McDonald's offers a coffee and muffin combo for about $2.00. I definitely won't be returning to that restaurant. It's too expensive.

Been awhile since i was at A&W. had my standby, Teen Burger and root beer, love the root beer! Service was quick and food was hot.

I used to visit A&W quite frequently until the raised all their prices. Maybe the customers have to pay for those annoying commercial about serving only beef without added steroids etc. etc. Any fast food restaurant can deliver a burger with fries and a drink...under $10 and still make plenty of profits. the food is acceptable, not always hot but the prices are not. So for now this customer will search elsewhere.

Go to the A&W on Anderson Way, not the one by Polson Park. That one is overrun and you will wait and wait for an inferior burger. The one on Anderson Way is run by your grandmother and Little Red Riding Hood. They do a...fine job, and everything's fresh and fast. As far as A&W goes, it's a cut above. Parking is tight. Just drive straight through and park behind the carpet store in back.

Great staff good food. Excellent hamburgers. Nicely air conditioned in summer. We're often had breakfast at this restaurant when passing through town and they do a great eggs, bacon toast with jam or peanut butter. Their coffee is the best in town. Lots...of seniors go to this restaurant so it's a happy place!
