Toro Japanese - Vernon

Had to wait for Tyson as usual. Toro is a short walking path from the dirt truck lot across from the truck stop. It was great to sit down and have a really good meal. Had the hibachi combo. Filet, chicken and shrimp over mixed vegetables. Everything was tender and fresh.The tables and chairs are those of a fast food restaurant but don’t let that fool you. The food was delicious!

This is a gem of a restaurant! The service was excellent. And the sushi rolls were fantastic ? We will definitely be back .Food: 5/5

Well what can I say? It's no coast sushi, but it will do for a middle of nowhere Texas. Hibachi is a bit oversalted. But the service was really good, waiters are professional.Food: 2/5
