Ardelia's - Vergennes

It was very cold in the dining room. our waitress was inconspicuous. we felt hurried. other employees have not smiled. we spilled water when we arrived, and that was clearly annoying. eating is delicious, but rich and salty. an underwhelming experience for very high prices.

Family. the service was impeccable. eating was a bit hard. my farro was swimming in olive oil. the others in our group were very happy with their meals.

We arrived for our reservation and because a rehearsal dinner had been scheduled we had the delightful opportunity to eat outside on the porch “ in our own private dining room.” The hostess and all the waitstaff were exceptionally pleasant. The food was one of the best meals we’ve had out since Covid! We’ll definitely be back soon to this hidden gem in Ferrisburgh.

Lovely dining room with pleasant and attentive staff. Food was just ok for price. Salad app. was tasty with greens that were nicely dried and dressed,but otherwise, unremarkable. Husband and I each had tenderloin dish. The dish was well presented on very creamy mashed white potatoes and deliciously glazed baby carrots. My filet was cooked as requested, med.-rare, was a good cut and very tender; however, seasoning was too heavy with the garlic. My husband requested rare and his tenderloin was served well-done. It was replaced promptly with a properly cooked and seasoned filet. The apple crisp dessert was quite tasty. Overall, ok meal in pleasant esp. for that desolate area of VT. dining room.

Amazing food, kinda a weird spot wasn't expecting it to be so hard to find/only really people staying at hotel and boats were eating there, but best food I had in a while
