Pho Bac No 1 - Verdun

This restaurant could definitely improve by incorporating some new appetizers on their menu, adding more spices to their meats, and making their dishes less watery. Overall, the menu feels too generic to truly enjoy the dining experience.

There were disgustingly large chunks of fat in their "Dac biet" or "all dressed" banh mi.

We've been going here for years and it's been consistently good, they've even improved a few things like putting in a tiled floor and decreasing he saltiness of the pho. They haven't put their prices up despite inflation (especially on meats), they may want to increase prices and in order to keep up the quality as the sides and size of meat has shrunk a bit. Still love going, great casual dining and BYOW. Never had an issue.

We've had some pretty good experiences here but when we received our delivery tonight the food was awful. I ordered extra large chicken tonkinoise and xl won ton. We received a large won ton and no chicken in the tonkinoise. In fact there was even a piece of beef in the soup. I called to try to correct it but they disregarded my call. Anyway, I won't be calling them anymore. Too bad, they really lost their way.
