Fresh sustainable oysters, raw or cooked at the beach. Great sauces. Be sure to order sime bread to go with. Beer and wine (Try the oyster beer...yummy) and dessert. Super friendly staff.Food: 5/5

A stop by the jolly oyster was one of the most memorable moments of our summer. Be sure to bring your own shucking knife if you have one (otherwise it's $15 to buy one – they won't shuck for you but you can buy pre-prepared food from another truck).Food: 5/5

Perfectly located adjacent to the Pacific and under CA skies, the Jolly Oyster was a wonderful place to host a memorable eventFood was prepared to perfection. Service was impeccable and most importantly the owner was flexible which is difficult to find when planning ahead. Could not be more excited to recommend this Ventura gem by the sea.?

Wonderful experience! On the beach, surrounded by shells, and amazing tacos!Parking: If you pull in to get parking, just tell them that you were going to the jolly oyster for an hour and a half and they will let you in for free.

We came for lunch. This would be a great place for tourists, sit by the beach and enjoy lunch. The food is good, but overpriced for what you get. It seems very popular though. Picnic tables with covered umbrellas. Dogs are welcome.
