The Cave opened in 2008 and has been a best kept secret in the Ventura area, It is in an industrial area and is easy to find. A friend mentioned it yesterday so 4 of us decided to give it a try. Fantastic service. Megan was excellent and made some great suggestions,. We decided to give the prix fixe menu a try. The food was delicious, the portions plentiful, excellent selection food choices. We are all very picky eaters and without exception all of us were impressed with the food. As for the wine selection it is off the chart. You can get a bottle of wine from the wine store that is attached to the restaurant. Michele, the owner, was very solicitous and made sure that everyone was pleased. Looking forward to going back. Give it a try you will be amazed.

Food and wine are generally good to excellent if not inexpensive. The only real complaint is the cave they made looks cool but is noisy and echoey. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
