Poke Land - Ventura

I consistently go after my poke for the fresh salmon and delicious toppings.

Love come here for my lunch break, but this time the girl at the front didn't look like she wanted to be very rude there and put out the attitude she tried to tell me something, and I said I'm sorry I didn't hear you and she just looked at me like I was stupid. Please rent respectful employees and not rude.

8/18/22 We held 43 people in Poke Land for a birthday party. The food was great (as always) and the Poke Land team has done an excellent job to get us all our food. Huge kudos to Poke Land for our birthday party a great success!!!! 2018 Good food... any time I've been there.

Food is not fresh or good quality. I get that we don?t live in Hawaii and can?t have the most freshest poke. But we do live by the beach and should be getting good quality seafood and this place is not it. First when I went in there it smelled like old fish and mold. Then I waited in line to order and when I got close to the front I was able to see the fish and all the toppings. Fish looked and smelled old and was not covered. The toppings looked the same also. You can tell manager doesn?t really care about quality just about people?s money which is expected from a poke chain. That?s why I prefer smaller local poke places like Poke Luau in Oxnard and others in Oxnard as well.

I wish this had the ability to have two ratings, one for the food and one for the service. The food rating is the four stars. The food was good and tasted really fresh. The portion size was also nice. I got the small size and i I was completely satisfied. The service on the other was a complete mess. We went to this place on September 18, 2021 at 7:30 pm (hint hint Mr/Mrs Manager). There was this young girl, dark hair, 5'02 , about 105 lbs, and she had the worst attitude and service I have ever seen in a long time. She lacked patience, courtesy, politeness and everything else one would need in a customer related business. She rolled her eyes at my wife when my wife told her she wasn't done ordering, she gasped when I changed my order from large to small just as she was about to prepare my food. (And she literally had to physically do NOTHING when I changed my order size). My wife and I said nothing to her or each other while in the establishment but when we got into the car, we both looked at each other and said the exact same thing about the rudest employee we both had just experience. This is a shame because the food was actually really good but because there are so many other options and places to go eat, I don't need to ever go back here again and I won't.
