I called to make a reservation for 12 and was told they don't take reservations but to call back after 330 to confirm with manager.Called back 345 and was told I can have a reservation at 630 and asked if we wanted inside or outside, I chose inside. We showed up on time and no one new about our reservation and was very rude in telling me that I didn't call back to confirm!I explained that I did call and was told everything was ok? We sat outside in the cold at three different tables with the worst service I've ever had ! Then proceeded to charge all of us 20% gratuity on separate tickets at separate tables !And to top it off the food wasn't that good!Ventura is too small of a city to do this to it's locals !

I've always ordered this pickup or on Postmates for delivery. The food has always been excellent. I really enjoy the Miso Soup, price is excellent ?Food: 5/5

I visited this restaurant for the second time in the last two weeks, once sitting inside and once sitting outside. Sitting outside on a nice day was enjoyable, with big picnic tables and great people-watching opportunities. The sushi we had both times was excellent, with very fresh fish and a large menu to choose from. Even for those in our group who don't like sushi, there were plenty of cooked options available. The service was very good and the food arrived quickly. The only downside was that our appetizers arrived after our main meals, so I recommend not ordering them at the same time. Overall, I would definitely return to this restaurant.

The bigger Asian lady outside was extremely rude and it’s not the first time we’ve had a bad experience with her. It is the worst attitude you can possibly expect from a waitress. This will be the last time we dine here.
