Bidra med feedbackTop 5 things I have ever put in my mouth. Hands down best for Italian on Venice.
Great fine dining restaurant with a casual atmosphere. There was a great jazz band playing, that even took requests, and played both of ours.
First time here. Our server was Kat. I could write a page about her. Beautiful, knowledgeable, friendly, attentive. (the place was busy) we were never rushed. The espresso martini was incredible. Large glass, unlike the tiny ones still floating around in most restaurants. They used Tia Maria, as the original espresso should be made with, but difficult to find in most restaurants in Florida. Joy! We were already off to a good start. The food was delicious. Fresh pasta that tantalized our taste buds with emitting sounds of yum and oh my god. As full as we were, we had to sample the tiramisu, which presented itself in a non-traditional way. A tall wine glass with scoops of lady fingers soaked in coffee and marscapone cheese. The presentation was beautiful, but for me, it lacked the richness and texture that a true tiramisu offers. It was more of a dry texture. We will most definitely revisit this little gem and request Kat.
My husband and I went to Cassariano for his birthday dinner. The service, drinks and food were all excellent! To start we had the Shrimp Bisque and the Spinach Salad with goat cheese and balsamic. My husband had the Veal Chop (amazing) and I had the Pappardelle Bolognese and we both loved our meals! As a Birthday bonus, the waiter brought over a complimentary Tiramisu, which was delicious. Cassariano is a wonderful Italian restaurant which we've been to several times and each visit is an excellent experience.
We were able to get a nice roomy table for four, even though we are a party of two. My husband has difficulty with a small table. He has Parkinson's disease, so we really appreciated a table with more space.
