Black Gold Coffee Roasters - Venice

Had coffee here for the first time today. I think it was from Brazil. Honestly, the best cup of coffee I've ever had. I had it black on the owner's recommendation and I was amazed. The taste changed when I got more into it, smooth the whole way through with a delicious cocoa and caramel undertone. I'll never drink my coffee black, but I'll come here now! I highly recommend this place when you try to make REAL coffee the right way. It smells inside and it is very clean. Staff and owners are very friendly and knowledgeable, you can say that they love what they do!

Was looking for a quick breakfast close to a car dealership that my friend needed to drop her car in for service.for a couple of hours. We hit the goldmine (Black and Gold actually). The coffee is as downright amazing as the regular crowd in line was promising it is. As was the egg and cheese croissant, breakfast panini, and zucchini bread. I bought the chocolate/apricot Holiday beans so I’m reliving the coffee experience again this morning! THE ICING ON THE CAKE? When they are roasting in the giant roaster, (which is every 5 minutes it seems) the bean ‘hulls’ of sorts cascade down onto the sidewalk from above as if it’s the appearance of snow right here in S Florida. As a coffee lover, I wanted to try it while passing by! I am glad I did. Alissa was so nice, gave me information according to what I am looking for. Got organic Honduras, can’t wait to try. I also tasted Costarían medium roast, wonderful

Black Gold is more like a Diamond in the rough and an absolute gem. The staff is so courteous, friendly, kind, hard working, and attentive to detail. Such a nice and comfortable place to grab coffee, fresh made baked goods (including gluten free and vegan), artisan chocolate, and assorted truffles. This is no doubt one of my favorite places to go in Venice and one of my favorite coffee shops in Florida!
