Gelateria Pizzeria - Venice

Just to echo the many other negative reviews. Avoid this place; they clearly hate their customers, so they'll no doubt be grateful if you do. I know if you go to Venice, you sort of expect to get ripped off, but this place takes it to a new level. We were charged 10 Euros for a tiny cappuccino and a tea (ie hot water and a tea bag). We asked for Earl Grey and it was flatly refused without apology. You got the impression that the surly waiter charged the first and highest sum that came into his head. He made no attempt to hide his contempt for his tourist customers. There are hundreds of better cafés in Venice.

Delicious drinks reviews are not true must have been done by competitor. Low price great energy!

Terrible, overpriced, we saw the reviews here and they were terrible so we ordered 3 Aperol Spritz which turned out to be 18 euros. Crazy expensive for no reason. Waiters didn’t even ask us if we wanted to order food, probably a good thing. Pigeons sit on tables, fly past your head as you sit there and very unhygienic. Prices were not put on the menu for drinks, and some of the food, tourists beware.
