Bidra med feedbackLove this place ... half litre house red, bread, sarde in sour, calamari with grilled vegetables, apple cake and aperitif, all very good. Like 22 euros as of Sept 2021. Staff is attentive and I never felt rushed, which is cool as I was a solo diner. Located on a nice walkway by a small canal.
This was our first meal in Venice today and was recommended by our hotel. We had the marguerita pizza and it is a big pizza so beware. It was really good, I love the way they make tomatoes taste here. I had the spaghetti pizzaiola and it was really good. The house red is a nice wine and we really enjoyed the whole experience. We sat inside near the kitchen so we were able to watch them make the pizza's. The outstide seating was nice but it was really hot today. We enjoyed this meal and would recommend them.
It was pretty good here for our first meal after arriving to Italy. Walking on our way to st marks square we stumbled upon this empty restaurant during the late lunch hour. The food was pretty good, black ink spaghetti, light flavorful and a hint of ocean. There were chunks of squid I believe I the dish. Could have been cuttlefish. The second dish was the lasagna, light yet still covers all the basis. The seafood clam pizza was good, except for being a little too much on the salty side for me. It was the sauce that seemed to be salty, otherwise everything was great.
It was a really great surprise for me to have this really delicious food in this random restaurant on the street. We sat in this place because we were really hungry during the Siesta period, so it was a relief that we found something open. I had no expectations. But a really good meal! I ordered something simple but got a special taste even for this simple dish. The waiter was a treasure, a really good service. Prices also normal! I can totally recommend it!
Visited in December 2021. Seemed pretty polite, however we had to wait very long to get our food (I'd say over 30 minutes after ordering), and once we did it was rather disappointing. Pizzas were super hard and frankly tasted like it was from the freezer. Lasagna wasn't that much better either. The bread sticks were the best part, honestly. Not sure what was up with that, honestly. Most reviews seem pretty positive but my experience was not, makes me wonder if it depends on the time and day, maybe they have a different chef. Who knows- but can't recommend.
