Antico Martini - VENEZIA

Great spot for dinner or lunch. Scenic route but quiet dining. Beautiful view of the opera house. Wonderful food!

Beautiful food, wonderful ambiance and immaculate service and all right next to the most spectacular opera house in the world! Please go to Antico Martini hungry because, unlike many fine dining experiences, the plates here are substantial. They are also so full of rich, Venetian flavours they almost had to rub olive oil on the door frames to get me out! I couldn’t stop; the carpaccio was magnificent, the beef fillet divine and the Tiramisu was out of this world. And by now I’m a Tiramisu expert! This is a must-stop for any foodie visiting Venice, please treat yourselves!

The food and atmosphere were amazing. The service (minus once waiter) was some of the best we had in Venice. The restaurant is homey and in a very nice location. The beef carpaccio, zucchini blossoms, caprese with sweet peppers and scallop appetizer were all delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will return on our next trip to Venice.

We ate here in sept and have just visited veneous, so wanted to eat here again as we had such a good meal a year ago. it wasn't disappointed. the food was excellent. we ate inside, as it was very violent rain, and we were in a room with only tables, so it was very cozy. will certainly eat here again when we revise venedig.

This is a sister restaurant to vino vino, a bit more expensive and in our view it is worth. if opera is probably required in session reservations. dinner with a bottle of wine was nice. fish of the day good. fish is not enough. next time someone has to order the leber, a local speciality. service good, ambiente on terrace great. back.
