Algiubagio - VENEZIA

We booked at Algiubagio in advance but had to make a last minute change due an unexpected long lunch at the wine estate of Collalbrigo (which was amazing btw). The staff at Algiubagio accommodated us without problem. We had set menus which were sumptuous. We enjoyed amazing wines which were reasonably priced and benefited from very professional and friendly service. The decor and condition are to a high standard and we would all go back without hesitation for what we know would be a great meal. Can’t say anything bad about the restaurant or the experience.

Delicious and delightful atmosphere. This was recommended to us by a local tour guide and it was an exceptional meal. Each dish was beautifully plated and prepared. Excellent wine suggestions from the waiters and they graciously accommodated our gluten free guest and our teen unimpressed with the numerous seafood dishes. We had a glorious orange and burrata salad, a pumpkin sauce pasta, and chestnut and spinach pasta that were out of this world! Each dish delighted us more than the last.

Fabulous experience! Lovely to sit right on the dock with a great view. Food was delicious and presentation was great. Excellent service. Came recommended by our hotel as a great non-touristy option :

Nice local with tables on the lagoon, with fantastic sunset view. courteous staff, available, corner table with excellent view of the lagoon. really good wine menu and paper. price quality ratio adapted to the wonder of the local. really a fantastic dinner
