Had a nice meal last Saturday, very nice (young) service, nice atmosphere, fine wine. But to then tap € 250 with the three of us is really too much of a good thing. The price-quality ratio is a bit lost. The Aubergine as a main course for €30, a 'regular ' steak (Tournedos) with a very meager garnish for €40, all added up just not good enough for the price.
Always friendly, helpful, attentive, hospitable, forgiving...etc. Vegetarian options: Plenty of choice and it is very pleasant that dishes can be adapted to your liking in terms of ingredients. Wheelchair accessibility: I come by scooter and can always get by with a walking stick inside. Fortunately, no experience with a wheelchair inside, but know that all paths and access doors are wide enough. There will certainly not be a lack of necessary help from staff. Dietary restrictions: Dishes can be adapted in terms of ingredients to the wishes of the guest.
Really delicious dinner at Poortman tonight. The meat was excellent and the service very friendly. An absolute must.
The restaurant is a cross between a neat establishment and an eatery. Atmosphere itself is good. But it could be better by replacing the suspended ceiling with halogen spots with a nicer ceiling with atmospheric hanging lamps. The toilets should also be separated from the dining area a bit more. The food is nice. With potato garnish as stated on the menu, I don't expect fries. Rib eye was very tasty. Price on the high side. The staff is very friendly.
