Cynthia's Chinese Restaurant - Vaughan

Small group december 18 at Cynthia's. Food was fabulous and great value for the Service was amazing and to top it off great live music. Will be back very soon! Everyoene at our table thoroughly enjoyed!

We ordered takeout for our wedding anniversary at a restaurant where I have been dining for over 15 years. Unfortunately, tonight's meal was the worst food experience we've had. The two chicken dishes we ordered were dry and tough. When I called to express my disappointment, I was met with what I believe to be the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The staff claimed they had not received any other complaints about their food that day. I explained that I normally enjoy their food and that's why we chose to order from them, but I was met with defensiveness instead of an apology. I received no resolution and left feeling disappointed that what was supposed to be a special meal with my family turned into a negative experience. I typically do not leave negative reviews online, but felt compelled to do so in this instance due to the poor treatment I received when trying to address the quality of our dishes.

I had a very disappointing experience at Cynthia's Chinese restaurant in Thornhill tonight. I ordered five dishes for takeout to celebrate my anniversary, and I have to say, it was absolutely terrible. Three out of the five dishes we ordered were overcooked, dry, and tasteless. It felt like we were eating cardboard with a burnt flavor. To make matters worse, the customer service was just as bad. When I called to complain about the food, they dismissed my concerns by saying no one else had complained that night. They completely disregarded the fact that we received overpriced, inedible food that ruined our special occasion. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with Cynthia's Chinese restaurant. This was not only a waste of money, but also a huge disappointment on a special night. I would not recommend this place to anyone and I hope they take customer feedback seriously and improve their quality and service. #CynthiasChineseRestaurant #WorstExperienceEver

If you're looking for delicious Chinese cuisine in a wonderful atmosphere, head to Cynthia's. Their take-out options are also fantastic! I've been dining here for over 15 years and it has never failed to impress me.

Upscale. Elegant place, courteous service, excellent food. Currently it's my favourite restaurant. I also order in from there. It's THAT good.
