Volcano Sushi and Grill - Vancouver

Food here is always on point! always get the thailand roll and the wild salmon sashimi. never dissapoints. the lunch and dinner specials are great value!

I recently discovered a new sushi spot in Hastings Sunrise called Volcano Sushi. After trying out a few different places in the neighborhood, I decided to stick with this one for a few reasons. They serve the best unagi don at a very reasonable price. The prawn tempura in their dynamite cone is always fresh and hot, which is important to me as I dislike when sushi restaurants use cold pre-made tempura prawns. I recently tried their chicken katsu for the first time and it was absolutely fantastic - the best katsu I've ever had. The chicken was thick, juicy, and fresh, with a wonderfully crunchy coating. Bravo, Volcano Sushi!

One of my favorite sushi joints. Its run by chinese chefs rather then japanese, however they do a good job. My favorite is the wild salmon sashimi! Its like buttah, and melts in ur mouth! The teriyaki plates are filling. I also really like the thailand roll. Their spicy sauce they have is not the best, so i avoid any of their spicy rolls. Go there for the wild salmon sashimi! Its delicious!!

I discovered my new favorite dish, the yam tempura roll, at this restaurant. I really enjoy dining here.

This restaurant is amazing! The food is delicious and they serve the best sushi in East Vancouver.
