Bidra med feedbackSimple and tasty food. This place is great for vegetarian and vegan people. The decor is also very nice. Bit slow service but staffs is very friendly.
I didn't expect much from Templeton because of its location, in the middle of a party street! But I was pleasantly surprised by their burgers. The breakfast items looked tempting as well but didn't get around to trying those.<br/ <br/ I would happily go back to try out their breakfast or brunch!
Simple, clean food, great vegetarian and vegan options. A small place but it fits the personality of the restaurant. Near the end of Granville Street before the bridge so it's easy to miss. The decor is also really cool! Something that I'm head over heels about is the presence of a diner booth jukebox in every booth. So rad.
Had my heart set on trying this place on my first night in Vancouver. After my flight was delayed, I didn't arrive until 30 minutes to close but they graciously took me in anyway. I was troubled with what to order but finally decided on the curry tofu scramble plus veg bacon. It was lacking in flavour and a bit dry and needed salt and hot sauce to liven it up. The bacon was also forgotten and I was charged for it anyway, but this was sorted. That said, despite having what should have been a supbar experience, my lovely waitress and the adorable ambiance still made it a a pleasant meal.
This is a small, but popular diner located on Granville, not far from Davie Street. They serve a menu consisting of the usual comfort food that you'd expect from a diner. I had their Pulled Pork Pancakes, Mangled Eggs and a side of French Toast. The food didn't blow me away, but was still quite tasty. The staff was very friendly and cheerful however, and their prices are reasonable. This is a place that's definitely worth checking out.<br/ <br/ Pulled Pork Pancakes $13.50):<br/ 3.5/5<br/ This consisted of pancakes layered with pulled pork. The pancakes themselves were a bit tough, but still tasty and had a nice chew. They were a bit bland on their own, but tasted nice with the pulled pork, which was very tender and juicy, and flavourful with a nice bit of sweetness that I quite enjoyed. While I do prefer the versions from Lucy's Eastside Diner and Red Wagon, this is still a pretty good renditions.<br/ <br/ Mangled Eggs $10.50):<br/ 3.5/5<br/ This consisted of a croissant that's filled with scrambled eggs, brie, and a choice of either bacon or veggie bacon I had the bacon), and was served with a side of rosemary potatoes. The croissant was nice and buttery, and had a great amount of filling. I really enjoyed the brie, which were rich, creamy, and flavourful. While the eggs were fluffy, I did find them to be a bit too bland, even with the bacon. The rosemary potatoes were crispy with a nice fragrance, but also a bit bland and underseasoned. <br/ <br/ Side French Toast $3.50):<br/ 3/5<br/ The bread was toasted well, but not really fluffy, which is what I prefer. It was also a bit bland on its own. This was not bad, but not memorable either.<br/ <br/ Summary:<br/ Food: 3.5/5<br/ Price: 4/5<br/ Service: 4/5<br/ Overall: 3.5/5<br/ Recommendations: Pulled Pork Pancakes, Mangled Eggs
