Bidra med feedbackHorrible customer service.Me and my friends come here quite often for their 3 items for $15.50 deal, the sushi is quite good and previous times we always had decent service from their younger staff. However, this time we were serviced by an older waitress, and it was a terrible dining experience. We barely were serviced. We had to ask for basic things multiple times (ie.water refills/ to-go containers) and even when asked, they were not provided till way later, it got to a point where my friend had to stare her down at the counter for our container that she forgot to give us. The restaurant was not busy at all, it’s understandable if it was a full house, but she was just standing at the front counter chatting to other coworkers. I can tolerate poor service, but what bothered me the most was that she was talking poorly and judging our table in Cantonese to her coworkers, I’m guessing she presumed we weren’t Chinese; however, I understood her whole conversation in Cantonese, and even my non-Chinese friends felt uncomfortable as they noticed the other staff members were started to stare at us from what our waiter was saying in Cantonese.Food wise, the sushi was good; however, I have to mention the chicken in the chicken udon was way over cooked: it was very dry and burnt tasting, none of us finished the chicken udon we each ordered. At this point we just wanted to leave from everything that we had experienced, to make matters worse, when paying our waiter had this very annoyed attitude/body language like she expected a higher tip amount from us, she never asked how our food was/ thanked us or tried to engage in any friendly small talk, she just looked at our receipts to see how much we tipped and proceeded to walk away. She should be lucky we even tipped after our terrible dining experience with her.Overall, I don’t see myself coming back here for awhile. I don’t recommend this place either, unless you want to be poorly serviced by a very unprofessional and rude waitress.
I have had an amazing experience at Sushi Aji so far.I love their combo options. I tried the vegetarian sushi so far but my friends highly recommend Alaska roll and prawn tempura as well. The service is good and the staff is very friendly and reliable.Would visit here anyday for Sushi..
Food is amazing but it’s understaffed. The server was just throwing food and it was difficult to get hold of them to request any thing like serving plates, water etc.
One star because they charge $1 as an online order fee when you 're ordering off their own website BUT THEY DON 'T TELL YOU THAT. It 's lumped in with the 5% GST as taxes and fees . I only found out after I placed an order for pick up and saw it on the itemized invoice stapled to my order on the paper bag. I went back and checked my emailed receipt and it definitely isn 't on there. It may not be an amount that matters to most but it will add up on a regular basis. I take issue as it 's not clear because I want to know exactly what I am paying for. Shady business tactic.Otherwise the food is ok, decent value for price, and their rolls always looks really well put together and its shaped nicely (like nothing fall out etc). Mediocre service when inside the restaurant though. They give the impression they don 't care to be there. It 's also really dark like they need some new light bulbs.
The worst attitude by the server. So rude and throwing food on the table. The lady belongs somewhere else. Her body language shows that she hates her job and the people who she's serving don't deserve to be served by her.We got the food delivered by a food runner as our server never felt the need to come back to us after her celebrity order taking skills, we had to go to the kitchen area to order some food.Have to say, the food is one of the best in town. But the service is not one of the worst, but THE WORST.This service made me write this while I was having food here, which someone who is reading this can imagine why.
