Super Chef Grill - Vancouver

The eastern parts of Robson are known for having as decent and varied of a selection of eats as much as the western parts closer to Stanley Park. Located across from McDonald’s by the VPL’s central branch, Super Chef Grill seems to be a relatively new entrant to the area with the premise of fresh ingredients and having the “best grill in town”. We’ll see about that!

I love Super Chef Grill! The food is delicious and great value and I love how family operated they are. Everyone is so kind and friendly. My order is always remembered as I walk in the door despite my long list of substitutions. Simply the best!

Great service, good food, friendly staff.  My favourite is the Thai chicken which comes with rice, chicken, mushrooms, and veggies (carrots, broccoli).  Usually around $9 but sometimes on special for $7.

Another one of those tiny Chinese joints where you'd go for some quick Chinese food. Super Chef Grill was our go to place whenever we wanted to have really spicy Chinese, coz boy oh boy, these guys would really whip out spicy food. The husband wife duo the wife is at the till, husband is at the grill are quite popular in Yaletown and although they don't have a very expansive menu, the stuff they have delivers the required bang for the buck.<br/ <br/ I've usually had the grilled beef with rice/noodles, or the ginger pork with rice/noodles. I love the flavors of the spicy beef tossed with some veggies (makes me feel less guilty) and the sauce added. My buddy Drew Humes  almost always used to go for the noodles option, and would ask them to make it extra spicy. He's lived in China in the past, and speaks a bit of Mandarin, and is able to connect with the owners here and convinces them to make it mind numbingly spicy. The food is quite nice here for $10, and the portions are very generous.

This place is right across from where we live thank god! Great food and great service. This small restaurant is run by a very friendly, sweet and humble husband and wife duo who cooks with a smile. Food is very tasty and you get really good value for your money. Our staples here are the curry chicken, soya duck, soya chicken and ofcourse the dumplings! The best part is that they cook with water right before your eyes so the food is healthy and fresh. Everyone should come and support this local mom and pop business.
