Silk Lounge - Vancouver

My family and I went to this restaurant for dinner at 5 PM. We were the only ones there at first, so we were a bit unsure about it. However, the food ended up being delicious. We ordered Basil Chicken, Mirchi Prawns, Tandoori Halibut, and all of the appetizers were fantastic. For our main dishes, we got Goan Fish Curry and Butter Chicken. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend this place.

Today I had the opportunity to visit "Silk", a new lounge that is truly unique. After four and a half years of planning, the result was truly impressive. The atmosphere transported you into a magical world with fresh flowers, mystic buddha head statues, sparkling crystals, and vibrant textiles creating a cohesive look. Even the booth seats were intricately designed, spelling out "S-I-L-K" around the room. The level of detail was truly remarkable, and it's best experienced in person. As the saying goes, "a picture is worth a thousand words", so you have to see it for yourself.

The decor was nice that you can say that it thought to set up. Unfortunately, eating does not fit the decor. the portions were tiny, not even enough to fill a small eater and everything is very expensive. the service was very slow, eating took a very long time to get out.

Interesting funny decoration, great cocktail menu, excellent eating, but terrible service. regrettable that someone comes to the table to take our orders, and the main course lasted over an hour to come after the order, although there are only three tables with customers and two waiting staff. we had 6:00 reservations and missed almost our 8:00 show in firehall theatre a few blocks away. really disappointing culinary experience. it felt like we cheated on them by being there. I'm sorry that eating was great, but I won't be back.

We had dinner in the dilk lounge. it surpassed our expectations. eating was delicious and the ambiente was amazing. it is absolutely a beautiful place. many details and thoughts went into the design of this restaurant. it is a certain must if they like Indian food.
