Bidra med feedbackDelicious, plentiful and quite fast. This is a fat spoon in all possible ways. The staff is always friendly, and they always keep your coffee filled. The portions are generous, and the chorizo hash bowl is always delicious. They also do not skip on sauces and jelly for the table. It is never too busy and works great for a late recreational breakfast on weekends. Worth a visit!
The brunch at Ricky's was a pleasant surprise, with dishes made from fresh ingredients and generous portion sizes. It was definitely worth the money. However, the overall decor and atmosphere at Ricky's, including this particular location, felt outdated and unwelcoming. It had a mixed vibe of a sports bar, diner, and 80s dance party. If Ricky's returned to its original roots, focusing on its delicious food, it would surely be a hit.
While the wait times at this restaurant were quite long, I absolutely loved the molten chocolate chimichanga (the only item I tried). Upon returning and trying the veggie omelette along with the chimichanga, I found the food and service to be good until I requested an extra fork for the chimichanga. The server, an older Asian lady, actually threw the fork onto the table, leading to a significant downgrade in my review due to the extremely poor service.
I went to Ricky's All Day Grill on Dunsmuir for the first time. My breakfast was good. Little service. Located on the north side of Dunsmuir and steps away from (west of) Chinatown Stadium Station SkyTrain. It is wheelchair accessible without outdoor seating.
Wow, what can I say. I was on the search for a delicious rigatoni rose dish in the city of Vancouver. I happened to find Ricky's menu and saw that they had it on their menu. I went in, ordered one to go. It was pricey for what it was, but the food came out quick. When I got home and opened the container I couldn't believe it. Inside was the smallest portion of pasta I have EVER seen, not even a 5 year old would be full from this portion! It was misleading because they put it in a big container. Also, the sauce was absolutely awful. It was definitely not a rose sauce, they put random day-old veggies such as olives in it. I was very disappointed because the picture on their website and menu looked delicious, but what I got in person was a small portion pasta with day-old sauce. The first pic os a pic on their website. The second pic I posted is what I was served... Absolutely disgusting, and a waste of my money! Never coming here again.
