Bidra med feedbackWas happy to find a local pho place and came here for lunch today in hopes of a great bowl of goodness. I had the vermicelli bowl with pork and the flavours were vibrant but the meat was very funky. The texture and taste of the meat was off and the noodles were soggy. Overall it was not the worst, but not the best vermicelli bowl I've had. Will I go back? No. The place is also tiny and lacks character only seats 12. The service was very slow and the place also gave the impression that hygiene was not often on the menu.
Got number 72. The chicken tasted great however the vermicelli rice noodles were thick spaghetti rice noodles and the fork they gave me to go was dirty!
Like the title states, I'm not the most experienced Pho eater, aside from trying a few places downtown Vancouver for lunch. My boyfriend and I decided to try this place on a Saturday afternoon out of the blue as we live close by. This sit down restaurant was tiny and cold, with a small TV on the wall and some spilt food on the chairs. Service was quick, but uninterested. There was one lady serving and managing the front, and she was watching a loud volumed asian cartoon, which was directly behind the table she placed me at. Whether we moved tables or not, we would've been able to hear the cartoon regardless. Thought that was a little unprofessional. Food was cheap and flavours were good. We went here because it is suppose to be the best Pho in North Van/Vancouver. Maybe it was the ambience that really knocked it down a peg for us. advice; Take it to go!
The pho at this quaint restaurant is delicious and one of my favorite soups. However, the service is unfortunately terrible. I will return for the pho, but I don't expect good customer service.
This restaurant did not meet expectations. The pho was average at best, and the service was also lackluster. The seating area is poorly designed with a small wall separating it from the kitchen, making it hard to get the attention of the staff.
