Bidra med feedbackThe Robson Business Improvement Association and I have collaborated to bring you some of my recommendations for where to eat on Robson Street. As someone who frequents Robson Street a lot for great eats, it was definitely a challenge picking my favourites!. Korean food is one of my go-to comfort cuisines, and there’s nothing better than enjoying a cold beer with some crispy fried Korean chicken after a long work week. One of the best places to do that is at Olé Wings Tapas. It’s located on the second floor of a building, so it can be easy to miss.
I came here on a Friday night for a coworkers going away party. It was early evening so we managed to get seating for about 10 people. Great place to get together, share some tapa style dishes, and of course drink some soju. Staff are friendly and accommodating.
I saw a bunch of reviews on this place, and it was right across the street from our hotel. This was the best and most tasty fried chicken we have ever had. We order the blueberry soju after reading the reviews and it was better than I ever thought, the Korean sweet and spicy boneless chicken and the garlic soy bone in chicken. The texture of the chicken had a great crunch and the flavors was really good. I think next time we might get salt and pepper just for the batter. we got a med order of the boneless to go for later and it was still very yummy the next day. If you are in the area.. I strongly suggest you try it :
Best Korean Chicken I have had in Vancouver. I was in Seoul last year and specifically went for chicken while there... òle Korean Chicken was better than Korean Chicken in Korea . It is a beer and chicken place so it gets loud. The only thing I would change is for them to show the Canucks when they play rather than annoying K-POP.
November 21, 2015 ·by ThatShanghaiGirl · Korean Fried Chicken!!! Literally one of my favourite things to eat, fried, crispy, goodness! I’ve pretty much have made it my mission to try every chicken place near me, so the past Friday I decided to try out Olé, and I’ll definitely be back. Service was great, and I love how their on the second level it makes the place feel more private!
