Bidra med feedbackNice spanakopita and the beef souvlaki was great! We'll be back for sure. Dined in and the service was great as well!
Looks like Fatty Cow has now reincarnated into this neighbourhood (no pun intended) restaurant. The restaurant used to be located at Victoria and 49th. Parking is available on the side streets. Staff are friendly and cheerful. The venue is nice and modern. There is a bar area too with some TV screens. Neighbour's deluxe (house special) pizza nice thick toppings. A bit on the salty side, but I think that's just the nature of the salted meat. Definitely hit the spot. Roast lamb this was honestly a bit disappointing. Portion size was pretty small, and the lamb was rather flavourless. Served with Greek salad, some rice pilaf with 2 chunks of roast potato, and some pita bread. The place is pretty pricy compared to the surrounding restaurants too. This place is decent, but it wouldn't be my top pick for the area.
More like a 3.5 as I expected a bit more from a restaurant that has been around the neighbourhood for so long but the pizza helped push this to 4 stars. The name Neighbours is true for me because the original location is close to home but now it has moved further along Victoria Drive due to redevelopment. Seeing as I had never actually tried anything from here, we ordered a few dishes tonight and there were some hits as well as some misses. Neighbours Pizza Their special pizza with olives, pepperoni, ham, shrimp and cheese. This was the highlight of the meal with a soft, bread y and tad bit greasy crust that was topped with plenty of slices of meat and a thick layer of cheese. They could have been more generous with the shrimp but the flavour was great without being too heavy. Calamari Being take out, I had to accept that this would get a bit soggy but I was not expecting the bottom of the box to be so oily. Aside from the excessive oil, the calamari itself was well flavoured and not chewy. Tzatziki sauce was also very good! Lasagna for the price, this was quite underwhelming with too many noodles and not enough sauce. Nothing special about this at all. Overall, the prices here are quite high and the food is a hit or miss. Would come back for the pizza but id be cautious about the other dishes.
Neighbour's has been around for awhile and this was their new location. Got their takeout and it wasn't bad. We ordered the chicken souvlaki dinner and the calamari dinner. Both came with rice and potatoes, though the potatoes could have but cut a little smaller but it wasn't a big deal. Salad and bread were great and price was comparable to other locations.
Our waitress was great but too expensive for quality of food gave priority to Asian customers with , manager wanted to rush us out the door, not any Italian diners, blond tall manager was in a rush to get us out only there 1 hour
