Bidra med feedbackBy far the best Korean restaurant in Vancouver. They have upgraded their menu and definitely recommend the new Beef Army Hotpot. The portion is massive with a variety of ingredients inside. Be ready to get bloated with satisfaction and some good soup!
Great Korean restaurant, they have 2 locations, one along Robson St 2nd branch). The other on Cardero off Robson tucked away in the corner. I have been to both, food quality is consistent in both restaurants. However I liked the one on Cardero for the ambiance decor. If you go there, you will see what I meant. We ordered the combo of spicy noodles bbq pork Kalbi beef ribs). Extremely yummy…spicy noodles were nicely flavoured with a great kick to it. The bbq was tender nicely marinated. On other occasions, we have tried their fried chicken, that was nicely done with a nice touch of fried Korean rice cake it was so good)They also serve cold noodle in soup non-spicy, that was so refreshing during summer. We often see lots of customers ordered the Tteok-bokki it comes in a pot on a propane stove with ingredients filled to the brim). I am going to try that the next time. Menu is extensive, it gets very busy… I don’t think they take reservation… to stay in the queue, there’s a QR code that you scan for your wait. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed!PHILOSOPHY“Good food is the foundation of genuine happiness; good food is founded upon the use of the freshest and highest quality of ingredients.”Their Philosophy:Our mission is simple – to deliver the highest quality innovative Korean food while upholding the traditional flavours that have been around for centuries.CHEF DE CUISINE : HAN, SEUNG- MIN
Great food. We ordered two cold noodle combos—pork and short beef ribs with spicy noodles. The cold noodle was perfect for lunch on a hot summer day.I am not particularly clumsy but I am not very good at holding the short beef rib with the small Korean spoon ? so the beef rib kept dropping into my spicy noodle soup and I am wearing my favorite tee today. ?
This is a nice little Korean restaurant in the West End, tucked away and just off Robson Street. The food is pretty good, service is great and the restaurant has a nice ambience to it. My favourite dishes here are the japchae noodles and the BBQ La Galbi; I wasn't a huge fan of the BBQ pork belly.
Had a great experience here, the beef brisket skillet was amazing, fried chicken was crispy and crunchy, yet sauced and flavourful, the miso soup was refreshing, and the beef gimbap was great value.Rose tteokbokki was good, subtle flavour with a lot of cheese.Improvements I'd suggest would be how the fried chicken shell was a little thick, sides could've been presented in bigger dishes for less refills, and the gimbap didn't taste the most fresh, though it was still good.
