Actually authentic Japanese. Chef and owner is this old super sweet Japanese couple. Service can be slow when it’s just the two of them, and prices are not “cheap” but expect quality, lots of care when it comes to the food and a quiet homely atmosphere. A hole in the wall so come and be prepared to chill. Finally a place that has actual tamago and not that rubbery neon stuff that most places serve. And the miso soup you can actually taste the homemade dashi. This is the real stuff.

We waited around 5 min, but no staff care, it's not busy time.

We ordered food from here to eat at the beach and we ended up waiting a while until our food was ready. Also, I looked at my receipt after the fact and I come to find out that I got overcharged an extra roll $16)! The food tasted average but the location is convenient, right by the beach.

A long timer in Kits. This restaurant is an oasis, small, quiet and comfortable. The sushi is still great! And you have your choice of a traditional Tatami room or one with a table you can put your feet under! And the hosts are lovely!
