Grounds For Coffee - Vancouver

Busy coffee shop to visit on a Saturday afternoon. There were around 20 tables and almost all of them were occupied. Some patrons were working on their laptops and there was a lot of areas available for charging your electronic devices. The iced latte came with too much milk and not enough coffee. The cinnamon roll with frosting was delicious, large, and warm. It was very sweet though. Good neighbourhood coffee shop. Street parking only.

Very disappointing and not fresh AT ALL! The cinnamon buns look great but they are VERY dry and stale! Bought 4 boxes totalling over $90 and gave some as gifts. Sadly by day 2, the buns are practically inedible and no amount of microwaving will soften them up. Will not return.

We frequent this cafe for hot drinks, muffins and breakfast but only dined in once. We usually order for takeout as the cafe doesn't have a lot of seating and fills up quite fast in the day.The things we love: Coffee (of course Matcha latte (try this with oat milk! Great matcha, friendly service and efficient. The biggest surprise me was how excellent the vegan cheese bun was--wow! So tasty--nice and soft, cheesey, and filling. I think it's the best vegan cheese bun I've ever had. When I'm back in Vancouver next time, this will be a stop, for sure! Also love the atmosphere--nice and open, with plenty of seating in and out, as well as great art features. If l still lived here, I'd probably come a lot :

One of my favourite coffee shops in East Van. Great lattes with all the milk and alternative options, thier cinnamon buns are delicious, and the atmosphere is fun. They have beautiful artwork displayed by local artists which I really appreciate. The Cafe is clean but usually quite busy.
