Bidra med feedbackThis restaurant is a fantastic choice for breakfast! They offer a wide variety of delicious dishes and the service is both friendly and efficient. I have visited multiple times and have always had a positive experience.
During my stay at the hotel connected to this restaurant, I enjoyed breakfast every morning. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. The service was fast and friendly.
I 'd written, a couple of months ago, that the First Avenue Bistro (new name) had, at best, a decent breakfast. I stand by that assessment and instead wish to comment more upon their Sunday Brunch, which I recently had the opportunity to enjoy. Now, by...all accounts, the Sunday Brunch is the major attraction here. The restaurant was certainly a heck of a lot busier for this event than it was for the regular breakfast I had a few months back. And, in all honesty, it 's easy to see why. For a very affordable price (I think around $14), you get access to an extensive buffet featuring an array of breakfast and lunch items: bacon, ham, sausage, pancakes, eggs bennie, hashbrowns, chicken, corn, roasted potatoes, Mexican cuisine, an array of salads, fruits, pastries. . .the list goes on! Now, of course, it 's all well and good to have a vast array of items, but how was it in terms of taste? Well, depending on your likes, some of the items are, admittedly, hit and miss. The perogies, for instance, were quite dry, but most everything else was nicely done for a buffet. Obviously, this is something of a small operation, so if you 're expecting a buffet similar to that found in Caesar 's Palace in Las Vegas, you 'll be disappointed; however, for those of us with realistic expectations, you will likely leave happy as I certainly did. So, yes, I reiterate comments made in my first review: the breakfast by itself is OK, but the real value here is clearly the Sunday Brunch buffet. Stop on by and give it a try!
We had breakfast at this restaurant this morning and it was absolutely delicious and the servings were generous! The staff was very efficient and friendly, and our food arrived quickly. We will definitely be returning to eat here again.
We went here just before noon to try their brunch buffet. As the only city that offers this deal, we were very curious about the selection and prices they have. The place was already filled with some other brunches, and we watched the tables... were clean and welcoming. After we set ourselves, a server approached us, asking us whether we drive for the breakfast menu or the brunch buffet running from 10AM-2PM. We opted for the latter and made our way to review their buffet offer. The buffet was simply organized and uses the small place it was provided. There was a salad bar with freshly cut fruits and vegetables with some salad options. Then there were 7 fases in the hot dishes each with two different types of options: bacon, sausages, pancakes, French toast, agitator, hashbrowns, eggs Benedict, rice, pork with vegetables, meat leaflets, potatoes, meatballs and Mac and cheese. At the end of the hot dishes were a decent portion of desserts. We built our brunch plates and enjoyed them. We had bacon, eggs, Benedict, meat, rice and sausage. The bacon was not too fat, scrambled eggs was a little dry, but decent, eggs Benedict's English muffin was a bit chewing, but the eggs and back bacon were delicious. Overall, the buffet options were very filled. We went back to the sample of dessert. The cut fresh fruits and mini-cheese cakes were very good, as they sneak slightly down. For the price point we thought it was very cheap given the possibilities they have on the buffet. The staff was fast and polite, and we saw that more people came when we were gone. We would recommend this place for Brunch in fact.
