Bidra med feedbackIn September, we had our final night in Vancouver and regretted not discovering this restaurant sooner. The menu had a fantastic blend of subtle and bold flavors, including a delicious wasabi option. The extensive menu could keep you coming back for more all week long. The waitress was lovely and truly enhanced the dining experience. Despite the rainy weather, the restaurant was not as busy as it should have been. Another couple from Australia and England also had a fantastic dining experience, making it one of the highlights of their trip.
Located just off Robson Street, this bistro is where we decided to dine on a Friday night. The food was excellent and one of the best meals we've had in Vancouver. It was a great value for the quality of food we received, cooked to perfection. I had the fish and my husband had the belly pork, both dishes were faultless. The wine was reasonably priced and the service was excellent. Despite not being very busy, we highly recommend this bistro.
During our stay on Robson Street, we stumbled upon this restaurant while walking towards the harbour. After checking it out on TripAdvisor, we decided to give it a shot. It offered a refreshing change from the usual restaurants we had tried, with a unique menu and interesting food combinations. The end result was delightful, with a variety of flavors and ingredients that were well presented and pleasing to the taste buds. Although the menu was short, the quality of the meal made up for it. I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant.
Robson Strassese is full of restaurants. Asian places of all descriptions. Plus some high end establishments. Something different. Limited menu. Quiet, small place off Robson.West coast fusion. What that means I don't know, but try it. Fresh local ingredients, blended for an interesting taste. Portions are...substantial. This is a gourmet restaurant. Prices around or less and wine list is small, but excellent.
What a great place, a very interesting menu, the starters we shared were a garlic prawn bruschetta and a salmon avarcardo and wasabi tartar. Both were full of really delicate flavours which went well with the the local beers. The main dish we shared was...a pork belly on a bed of rice with shiitake mushrooms, again great flavours with them all working together. The wine list is small but covers most tastes. We have eaten there twice now and the prices are pretty cheap for the food quality.
