Bidra med feedbackTo eat the first time in a Japanese steakhouse in the northwest, the Hibachi show was decent, but I think because of COVID-19 they can not do as much as they are currently, but eating was fantastic and excellent. I will definitely go back and make this place next to my normal out-race location, knowing that there are places at several places!
It was said that this was the best hibachi and sushi in vancouver, I can confirm that it was quite dang tasty! very busy but not enough chefs, but the chefs they have are very loud and entertaining. the eating tasted great, the lobster was firm and filet steaks are incredibly tender! well prepared and presentation was top notch! I am bound to make a picture of my eating, but I forgot it so fast.
I ordered the Hibachi Filet Mignon rare w/scallops, rice and mixed vegetables with extra vegetables. To drink I had a “dirty martini” but didn’t expect it to be in a filthy glass. When mentioned to the waitress she acted like it was no big deal and didn’t offer to comp it. My steak tasted good but wasn’t rare, had veins through out, and were in tiny pieces. The scallops were amazing being perfectly cooked. The vegetables were good but way too many huge onion pieces with the skin included. Great sushi but definitely not worth the price for steak or drinks-
I was in kyoto a few times, both for the Hibachi grill and for the take-out, and let me just say the cooks here know how to make some TASTY mealtimes. while the order for To-go still holds these Asian savory and salty aromen, I would highly recommend in how it is an experience. first, the interieur is clean and beautifully furnished. service is good. the chefs who work here are lively, friendly, funny and ready to make a show for them while some delicious foods. I love absolutely her tasteful roast rice. her meat is also good, my favorites are the steak and the scallops that taste well with the carbs supplements. I enjoy eating here and it is a great place to bring others and have fun with them.
FIRSTLY, I don't suggest you going here without doing the Hibachi. When you do the Hibachi, service is 5/5. When you decide to do the regular dining experience, the service is horrible. We were greeted, walked to our table, and it took over 30 minutes for someone to bring us water. We could not find anyone in the dining area (literally ghost town). It's so upsetting because, we love their sushi but, to get great service, we need to do Hibachi. I suggest that if you are only wanting their sushi, DO NOT DINE IN. Do a pickup order or Hibachi. This is the 3rd time we've dined in (definitely the last time), and the service have been the same. Really slow and no sense of urgency.
