Pasta E Vino - Valparaiso

We made a reservation in advance and were at 7 p.m. The kitchen is open at 7.30. We sat immediately and served fruit infused water. Potatognocchi Biss was served as starters as well as bread and butter (olive oil). Nice start! We ordered half a bottle of sauvignon blanc. It was average table wine but refreshing enough. As a starter, we ordered Crunch Lasagna. There were 3 layers of ingredients with tortillas. It was good. The shrimps upstairs were pretty nice. For the main we ordered orange gnocchi and pumpkin ravioli. Both were very nice, but we're small eaters. felt a little hard at the end. The orange taste was well mixed in Gnocchi. Ravioli was filled with pumpkin paste and well roasted with basil Pesto and fine olive oil. ****! We had ice cream as dessert, but they were too sweet for us. If you long for good pasta, this is a place to go to Valparaiso. The next time there is one, her seafood wants to try pasta. We really enjoyed it. Our favorite restaurant in Valparaíso. We eat here three times and they were all great. The pasta is excellent with experimental sauces that were inventive and tasty. You have a wide selection of wine to boot. It is better to make a reservation, but you could have luck and get one of the few bar seats when you decide to go.

We live at Pasta e Vino Hostel in Valparisio, so we tried the restaurant below. The prices are at the top, as many other reviewers have indicated, but the food is quite delicious here. Try it out when you prepare good quality well prepared food. The Abalone Raviolis (which is not so easily available where we live) was excellent. The Chiramaya Panna Cotta was refreshing. Diego (also a somolier) was in point with his wine recommendations. He was super helpful in looking for food in the restaurant as well as other wines while bringing back home in Chile. Overall, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Perfect place. Excellent food, I recommend roasted pepper and lamb ravioli with plum sauce and port wine. And while Google says “only cash” the place also accepts credit cards. And if you want a good coffee, you'll find him here.

The best Italian resturant we’ve been, better than New York or Italy. Highly recommend. Must try the eggplant gnocchi !!!
