TGI FRIDAYS - Valparaiso

Very disappointed that we were greeted at the door with the words we are no longer doing open table in this restaurant. why is it on the open table website? we were crunchy in a time. Thank you there was a table in front of a very cold window, but it was a table. on the other hand our server was wonderful.

I called for reservations and they said the only way to get reservations was through OpenTable. So I made reservations when we arrived, Hostess said it would be a 20 minutes waiting when she was sitting just a collecting table. The couple that went about 5 minutes after us sat before us and they had no reservation. She asked if we were willing to sit with another couple we talked about being a lifeguard for her??? Soooo, our date night ended with another couple??? Service was also bad and food was not very good. Only wished there was an option for a negative review because I did not return.

Less than 10 days at 6:30 on a Sunday night. The waitress refused to drink my mother a smaller glass (she is 4'11 in a wheel chair with Parkinson's and needs a short glass,) say that the short glasses could only be used in the bar for alcohol, but mom could have a newspaper to go cup. There was no one in the bar who refused a supposedly nice restaurant to refuse glassware to Diners? The manager made an exception and gave us a glass. My mother's salmon was completely overcrowded. When the waitress brought it back to the kitchen, we could hear that the cook cries about the problem and urges my mother to want softer fish, the whole restaurant could hear his outbreak. The service was terrible, even if it was about the only people here. My Caesar salad was good, but because of our experience we will not be back.

Service was the best, fast, it helped reservations as they were pretty busy
