Le Buffet de la gare - Vallorbe

Nomen est omen: “Buffet de la gare” is located in the beautiful (and historical) building of the railway station vallorbe. on this warm summer day I sat on the terrace to enjoy my lunch. the couple offered an efficient service and regularly asked if everything was in order. many guests always seemed to be a good omen. the menu offers traditional brasserie dishes. I chose the “Hamburger vaudois” that was really a highlight: spicy rinderpatty, delicious tomme vaudoise (cheese from the region,) delicious homemade pommes. I really deleted my plate! as dessert, I pampered with a tiramisu. although highly recommended by the renter, it proved to be somewhat disappointing: undoubtedly homemade, but too casual according to my taste. all in all, a good address where they will enjoy a simple and beautiful meal.

We were a group of 9 hungry hikers who just came back from a long walk (6 hours), all not expected haute cuisine. we were already happy to find a very fast and friendly service. then we started with a...Salad, who was fresh and good in taste. because we ordered a lot of different meal times, we thought we had to wait a few times and ask ourselves if the quality was reasonable. we were all surprised by the quality and the freshness of our meals. that is really a place to come back and try something more.

Petite carte mais avec des plats atypiques. Assiettes aussi belles que bonnes. Service sympathique. Belle terrasse

Très belles et très bonnes assietes et service convivial???? J'espère que ça continue toujours comme ça...????

Enfin la réouverture de ce café mytique de Vallorbe.on y croise des Vallorbiers et les passagers en attente d'un train .la carte est simple mais les plats proposés sont excellent.
