El Pollo Loco - VALLEY VILLAGE

Great, friendly staff. Clean. Would recommend the Tinga Burrito, but would try something else

EB T pays for my food and and I was walking back to the apartment I was staying at and noticed El pollo loco and went in. I thought there tortilla soup was delicious and it was so filling that on my way back even though I had a very large burrito I had purchased I didn't I ended up giving it to a homeless man because it was warm and it was large and it was intactors so I don't know how that was but there's a homeless man that loves El poyo loco somewhere on the streets. I love the soup and their chips are delicious and their drinks are strong not water down it's a good place to have a kind of delicious meals for all kind of prices.

Pollo loco usually never fails, but this location seems to sell remains. A few salads, Mac and cheese and a tortilla soup bought and nothing was good. The chicken on the salads was hard, dried and cold, looked like it was cut days in advance. The Tortilla soup looked like they had taken new soup in older soup. Mac and cheese looked brownish and watered. I think this place was the only choice place I? ve to serve bad food.

Went with a friend of mine because we are trying to eat healthier and she sold me on the protein bowls. We entered the establishment to a foul smell, nobody watching over the 6feet order, a freewill drink station with nobody watching over the sanitation, was rudely treated by the cashier, took our protein bowls to go and were about to enjoy a nice outdoor picnic. The protein bowl was nothing more than iceberg lettuce and chicken that my friend then encountered a bone in that she nearly choked on. Charging $25 for two bowls of iceberg lettuce and chicken bones at this establishment is not the best policy to say the least. When I went back the manager gave me my money back but insisted I still pay for the drinks. Thanks El Pollo Loco for the gracious favor.

Staff clean salsa bar just with regular napkins. The bathrooms smell really bad , sink and toilet look filthy. They need to improve in cleaniness.
