The Cheese Steak Shop - Vallejo

Okay, that's a normal way for me. I love coming here at least once a month to get my Gilroy! Today was a great experience for hubby and me. He got the regular Phillie and I got my beautiful Gilroy. Pack of extra onions and cheese. This is my favorite from here and nudeby ceremonies know that I will see the garlic from every pore 48 hours. LMAO! Love LOVE LOVE THE WORLD! I'll make animal noise when I eat here! The staff is always pleasant. He greeted us when we came in. I can't say a bad word. My velvet is so Gooey from the cheese. Thank you. I'm full.

Gotta be honest,I expected issues as that seems to be a common thread among restaurants lately around my area but this place is clean,friendly and the food is delicious,every time I 've stopped by it 's the same (gotta love consistency)..I have very few spots that are on my go to list and this is one of em..give them a try I think you 'll agree...

The best by far Cheesesteak hoagie sandwiches even better than Oakland's cheesesteak shops. It's a good price a great amount of food perfect taste. I recommend the sizzling Pig large with the sweet peppers and a side of barbecue sauce you can't go wrong. The wait time on certain days maybe normal but if you call it in and sign up to get points that way you could get free sandwiches. Big mike

Same authentic cheese steak sandwich we used to enjoy at the Steak Shop in Berkeley which unfortunately is now closed. Not all steak shop are the same and the Berkeley location was the best. Staff were friendly and efficient. Place was clean and bright. Our new go to place for steak sandwich

I've never been to Philly but I have a friend that was born and raised there. I asked him about this place and he said it's actually not too bad, so I gave it a shot. Got two classics, one with and one without peppers. Imo, peppers are the way to go. I even saw tasty cakes behind the counter, something my friend has mentioned several times.
