Varadero, Pescados y Mariscos

The whole place is a work of art. Just go. 'Nuff said. But I can 't help myself! Was in Cuba a few months back and this place is more Cuban than most of Cuba. Figure it out. Going back tonight. Oh, incidentally, the food was...exceptionally good.

Last night was our first time at Varadera and we absolutely loved it! We are new to Valledupar and have been looking for a 5 star restaurant to make us feel the comforts of home (United States). We definitely found it here. Service was excellent,...there was a great live band, and the food was out of this world. Will definitely be going back soon!

There is no case, I can not stop eating the salad starter, with homemade bread with spices in the wood oven ... followed by pasta with funghi at the exact location, with Flambéed Cognac-Tenderloin... without waste... You want to lick the plates! highly recommended

Delicious plates especially the baby lobster with the mashed potatoes! The staff is very helpful and very kind! Good prices too. I totally recommend it! P.S. Try Mojito! It's a must !

This place is fantastic. If you are going to be treated with great service, the ambience is fantastic, dimming lights and a very romantic feeling, live music and good food. We had the ceviche de camaron estillo ricotto, savory and spicy....We also had the mariscos that had a little spice, a beautiful mixture of octopus, Calamari, shrimp and fish in a tomato broth. The Lagostinos was also really great, juicy large shrimps on a creamy Cajun bed rice. DELICIOUS!!! For the desert we had the coconut fin. I'm not a fan of flan personally, but the coconut version is something I'm glad I don't miss! I highly recommend it. 5 stars around
