Bidra med feedbackOrdered menu of the day (Pakora and Chicken Tikka Masala . Absolutely awful. The pakora was dry and largely tasteless. The chicken masala was bland with no taste at all. No traces of herbs or spices, no traces of chillies. The Pilau rice looked peculiar with a lot of strange looking green coloring seemingly splashed all over it, not resembling Pilau rice as I know it. But the taste was OK. Out of the 3 sauces for the poppadum, only 1 was OK. The mint sauce had traces of mint flavor but was very salty. The red onion chutney sauce tasted of tomato ketchup with some onions in it. The lime pickle was OK. Some friends had Lamb Curry Madras (menu of the day . Their views on the food were the same as mine awful. A take away dish from the general menu (chicken Bhuna turned out to be reasonable. Conclusion the day's menu seems to be horrible (as it is prepared in advance? , whereas food picked from the main menu (and therefore prepared there and then is OK
It was terrible lamb madras ,my wifes chicken korma wasn't that bad, overall ,not good Was not worth the money .after found lovely bar opposite lovely Chinese couple in the square
Where do i start from?? What a fantastic experience, it was definitely worth the money and after hearing few negative reviews about the restaurant I thought i would like to give it a go myself, the restaurant was very clean and tidy. The food was outstanding. For starters we ordered mix grill, chicken pakora and onion bhaji. It was very good but i was shocked as they don’t have Chaat on the menu (huge fan of Chaat). For mains we ordered lamb madras butter chicken and chicken tikka masala with cheese naan and rice. The lamb madras could have been a little less oily but the chicken tikka masala and butter chicken won our heart!! And the cheese naan TO DIE FOR!!! I will definitely be visiting again. Things they could improve on: Service could be better by having maybe extra waiters. Giving a little more attention to the customers. Water fountain was louder than the music. We felt like we were getting to loud even when we spoke normal. If that makes sense. Other than that everything was spot on
