Extensive, rough waiters and bad quality of the service as a whole. I can't regain this place. Various experience

Both the waiter and the cook were rude. I asked for vegetarian option, they said something like "option is poor" that is completely fine, so I ordered only wine and then the waiter became very rude and I had to change the table as this... We were at the excellent Hotel Kramer on the street and during the hike over the first evening we were tempted by the 'Basil Fawlty' waiter. A mistake. We started with a plate of mixed meat and cheese that took a while to...arrive and was bland and overpriced. We followed with Paella, allegedly for three, but it was more like a part for two and again, took a while to arrive. The surly boss/owner appeared as if to check how the customers copied on the pavement, but no contact and service overall was made slow and uninterested. Unfortunately, the paella was quite bland. We were so dissatisfied, we went for another meal immediately afterwards in a German bar nearby, which was much better. Almost for laughing we passed our last night on the way back to the hotel to see if something had changed. The owner agreed to serve us before closing time. Two of us ordered red wine and it was obvious when he poured the first glass that it would not be enough in the bottle. He just poured a dribble into the second glass, didn't look superfluous and disappeared. We expected him back to fill the glass, we should know better. Our next contact was to ask the bill when he just gave us a figure from the top of his head, back in grudging fashion. These people should find another vocation as they really don't like the public. You could begin your visit here as we did, laugh about the service and the attitude and then realize how the song goes, the only way is up!

Nice restaurant in a central position. Excellent local food and drink. Staff are very helpful. Well worth a visit
