Bidra med feedbackHaving read all the excellent reviews we were very disappointed with what we had. We chose the tasting menu at 26€ per person. The food was at best mediocre. And the price of drinks was extortionate.... 2.50€ for a tiny beer. And 4.00€ for a clara. Yes, the clara was organic or something but they should advise that that is what you will get. I order claras to keep the alcohol content down as I was driving but this was stronger than any beer! There are many restaurants in Valencia that serve far better food at half the price. I won't be back.
It's tiny. You can walk by at night and wonder if it really exists. It does, and for those of us lucky enough toi find it and dive in, it's fantastic. 16 seats indoors, not sure if they do outside seating. We were lucky enough to score a 4 top (for two of us and we needed all the space for our fantastic sampler/pairing meal. Delicate cheesewrapped in thin crusted bread covered in black truffles, a paper thin sliced oxtail salad over a barly base, thgree courses of perfect pasta and a semi-sweet desert of 4 different pastries with a white dessest wine followed by coffee. Two hours of heaven for 70euro, the most expensive way to dine there! Next time we now know our favorites, cant wait to come back as we live a 10 minute walk from here. My advice is to avoid this place at all costs.. ; as we don't want to have to wait!
My last meal in Valencia was sadly this one. Sadly because I wish I had discovered them earlier so I could have visited them every other day. The pasta was incredible! It was by far the best pasta I had in Valencia, and also in most other cities I have visited IN THE WORLD. I wish I had been hungrier and could have ordered the tasting menu, which is really worth it considering how many dishes you get to try, but I knew I didn't want to waste precious stomach space on appetizers and just wanted to fill my tummy with pasta. I was torn between the spaghetto chitarra, the taglioni tartufo, and the pappardelle with mushrooms (porcini), but I decided on the spaghetto since the pictures of this pasta was what had drawn me to this restaurant in the first place. This place is also the second place I have ever gone to that offers this type of pasta (it is nothing like your typical spaghetti so flush that from your mind). It really reminds me of a type of Asian egg noodle, especially the texture, and is really delicious and chewy. I'm so sad I am now at the airport about to fly away from this restaurant. Sad times.
