Restaurant El Gaucho - Valence

Next to the Millennium Bar in Calahonda Families gather for their evening meal The Miel @ Cream whatever Italian ( so-say) busy busy Very dirty inside FOOD ALL OVER THE FLOIR. TABLE TOPS Horrid place We opted for El Gaucho! Big mistake It wasn't busy ( a sure sign of something not right) three of us sat down outside ! We sat there for 35 minutes. NO MENU. NO MENU. NO SERVICE. NO HOLA. NO DRINKS. NOTHING. IGNORED. COMPLETELY IGNORED Don't go there. To any of it. Rubbish square Children's playground. Great fir parents that allow their kids to run riot

I tried this mexican restaurant in the center or Valence two times. The atmosphere is quite nice, the service too (even though both times I went was in the middle of the week, so few tables and faster service I guess).Coming to food, I tried one time mexican dishes and I found them to be delicious (I tried the assiette, see picture), so good that I was really looking forward to try the restaurant again.The second time I went I wanted to try the meat dishes, especially because I saw their excellent grill. Again, as I wanted to taste different things, I took the mixed grill. The frites maison were very tasty, the grilled chicken breast too. But the beef was only good looking, it came indeed with a lot of nerves and I found it quite difficult to eat. Finally, the ribs...are the reason why I give 3 stars, even though I would have left 5 stars for the mexican dinner I had the first time. I think they were one of the worst ribs I had in my entire life. They reminded me of supermarket frozen pre-cooked ribs, but with even more plastic taste.So my suggestion is: try this restaurant, but stay away from meat dishes, try instead one of the delicious mexican dishes.

We ordered burger and when it came it was cold and the frites was soft. The Bread have not been warmed. Not a very nice dinner. The service was okay and nice.

El Gaucho is a super nice place to go with friends.... The ambient is fun, the service is fast and amazing! People are super nice !The food is a little fat.... True.... But SO GOOD ! It's worth it to try the frites maison and the mozzarella sticks for entries.... All the Mexican specialities are DELICIOUS! Go for it ! :)The food is not so expensive.... Good price for the amount of food you get ! Really fair!Ahh... And don't forget to try the marguerites! AMAinh ;)

Most of the food was ok, but the chicken hamburger was like the chicken pieces we had as a starter. Besides there was too much sauce on it. We were warned that it could take some time because there was a big group that had to be served before us which we accepted. But 3 hours for a starter and a main is way too long.
