Snow Addict Pizza & Restaurant

I rated Snow Addict four stars after visiting in July 2016.

My family was driving through and we stopped by as it was one of only of a few places that had food we all would like to eat. Pizza was quite good. Great staff, made us feel very welcome. They have a really cool wood table and chairs there made from rough timber (I just had to say that). You may have to bring cash because their card machine seems to be giving them trouble lately.

I live in Valemount and have been trying to visit this restaurant for the past 8 months. Unfortunately, they have been difficult to reach, with no answer when I call and sporadic opening hours. Finally, I was able to place an order for pick up last night. However, when I arrived to pick up my pizza, it was missing the cheese that I had paid for. The owner tried to explain that the cheese was on the bottom, making it a "summer" and "healthy" pizza. Disappointed, I left with a soggy, undercooked pizza and limited menu options. The server was kind, but it was clear that this place was not up to par. Hopefully they can improve their quality and consistency in the future.

There must have been a change in ownership, as they had (re-)opened just a few days ago, so don't go by the previous reviews for this place preceding July 2017. It might look like it is still closed from the outside, but that is part of the patio design - they do open at 5pm.So far, they have a limited menu (pizza and burgers). You can select a pizza, or build your own. They are large enough to share, and good (not drenched in oil and cheese, but I am sure you could get extra cheese if you wanted to)!

We were unable to have our food delivered and called multiple times until we drove to the location, only to find that the restaurant was closed. Our children were extremely disappointed. It is disappointing that a restaurant would advertise and then close during peak season.
