The place is very simple. the lady who performs service in the room is very kind... excellent dishes prepared in a housewife... excellent the pickles served with the bresaola (made in the house).. as well as the laces! Even the dessert was prepared with the berries of their vegetable garden!!! What to say, it's not gonna be a 5 star, but the quality of food is really super!

What I can say having only overnight and breakfast for two nights, the gentlemen are very kind, the room is clean and is cheap.

The restaurant is located in the beautiful town of San Pietro, on the road from Bormio to Bormio2000, with view over the valley and the beautiful white church of San Pietro. Spacious and welcoming premises (it's the restaurant room of the Hotel Ginepro), family management, he's the cook and she manages the room. Excellent local cuisine, fantastic lazzoccheri and sciatt accompanied by a fresh salad, directly from their garden. Wide choice of Valtellino wines and not, all at the height. The only modest thing is the final account, which leaves surprise... positive.

We ate some excellent lazzoccheri, malfatti and gnocchetti valtellinesi and it was not a simple tris of first, but TRE courses per dish. Plus the fabulous fools! Prices contained, around 15-20 euro per head wine and coffee included!! Great view of the Bormio mountains! Drive from Bormio city 5 minutes by car!

We stayed for New Year 2016 and we had a great time! the place is simple, a little dated, but very clean breakfast in the average (next the lack of cakes) and dinner with simple but tasty and never heavy dishes Mrs. Fausta pampers the customers with his sweetness and kindness compliments we hope will always stay so!
